2. Edgware Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Edgware, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions depend on vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification, proof of address and a payment method accepted by Edgware.

3. Reservations and Billing

  • Bookings may be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Edgware location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are usually payable when you collect the vehicle. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • When collecting a vehicle from Edgware you must inspect it thoroughly and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and an Edgware representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found after return will be assessed and charged to the hirer.

5. Insurance and Liability — Edgware

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Edgware rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to limit your out-of-pocket costs. Please review these details carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment terms vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your Edgware booking confirmation or rental agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Edgware's rented vehicle for:

  • Use of the vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity is prohibited by Edgware. Participation in racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating Edgware's terms may result in immediate rental termination and extra charges.

8. Edgware Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Edgware Vehicle Hire Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid by you to Edgware Vehicle Hire Services for the relevant service in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Edgware Law

These Terms for Edgware are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Edgware Terms

Edgware may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of Edgware services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
